Top Fundraising Executive develops and directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Top Fundraising Executive researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Top Fundraising Executive uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Fundraising Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Essential Functions:
This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining donor databases, coordinating fundraising campaigns, researching and maintaining relationships with donors and prospective donors, as well as other tasks essential to the smooth operation of the organization’s fundraising efforts. In addition, this position will interact frequently with board members, fundraising volunteers, program staff, donors, and other constituents. This position reports directly to the CAO.
Data
Manage the Donor Database including:
o Gift entry and processing
o Keeping donor records updated related to donor cultivation and relationships, solicitation and stewardship
o Maintaining and updating prospect pipeline and running any database reports
o Ensuring that the donor database information is current and accurate
· Monitor all donor information
· Provide and present statistical analysis and reports to board and senior leadership
