The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for scholarly and creative activities (professional development) and service to the college. 1. Instruct assignments which may include a variety of courses in Astronomy, Geology or Physics depending on the candidate’s area of expertise. 2. Participate in on-going professional development. 3. Work collaboratively with full-time faculty that are course captains for the courses assigned. 4. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and the Academic Dean. Work Hours: Teach day and/or evening classes at Greeley campus or satellite campuses in Loveland and Fort Lupton. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis. 1. Master’s degree in the discipline OR master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. Preferred Qualifications: 1.
