Top Government Affairs Executive (Federal Level) leads strategic planning and directs engagement objectives to develop and maintain productive relations with all levels of government authorities that will support and enhance the businesses' goals. Develops plans, policies, and teams to build relationships and liaise with government entities (federal, state, provincial, or local) that regulate or influence business activities. Being a Top Government Affairs Executive (Federal Level) directs ongoing monitoring and analysis of proposed legislation, emerging issues, and trends to determine the potential impact on the organization. Collaborates with industry groups and organizations with complementary objectives to achieve objectives. Additionally, Top Government Affairs Executive (Federal Level) creates communication vehicles and delivers messaging to inform and support business leaders. Requires a bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, business or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Top Government Affairs Executive (Federal Level) manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.   • Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking an Executive Assistant for its service-centered financial services program with exceptional organizational and communication skills. Candidates must exhibit professionalism, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills as well as be detail-oriented. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires quite a lot of report creation and taking incoming client calls. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be able to work independently.     Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

    • Assist the SVP of Wealth Services and Program Manager in managing the needs of the membership and clients by working on the Liberty FCU Wealth Services team to achieve a common goal of providing high quality financial management services to Liberty FCU membership and clients. 
    • Provide administrative support 
      • Process mail, type memos, order supplies, manage calendars, etc. 
      • Maintain member marketing lists. 
    • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional, knowledgeable and service-oriented manner. 
      • Handle the needs of the member/client in a timely manner. 
      • Schedule appointments. 
      • Take messages in a thorough and accurate manner. 
      • Direct member or client needs to the proper service area of the credit union when necessary. 
    • Assist the SVP of Wealth Services and Program Manager by preparing members’ file and account information, assist in completion of paperwork after the appointment, assist in managing the service and follow-up needs of members/clients after and/or before an appointment. 
    • Keep CRM system up-to-date with client information
    • Assist with information and documentation requirements for new accounts, transfers, and more
    • Conduct proactive outreach to clients and advisors on time sensitive activities (e.g., RMDs)
    • Assist with account activities that are operational in nature - new accounts, cash management, transfers, and account maintenance (e.g., periodic distributions, debits)
    • Assume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal departments to ensure clients' expectations for timely service delivery are met
    • Educate clients on account services, capabilities and new technology
    • Assist with reviewing timecards, and other program manager responsibilities
    • Assistance with scheduling travel, such as book flights, car rental, hotel stays, meals and other needs related to travel
    • Responsible for the orientation and paperwork for all LWS employees
    • Assist with coordination of and participate in workshops for clients, events for clients, and prospects for department.  Responsible for effectively tracking ROI for events, marketing dollars vs budget
    • Perform various other duties as assigned
    • May serve as backup to other Sales Assistants
    • May coordinate work needed for insurance registrations

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Pro-active with the ability to think ahead and act independently
    • Must work well in a team environment, supporting others
    • Must be able to prioritize and switch tasks as needed
    • Comfortable with Microsoft suite of products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
    • Ability to work in office Monday-Friday

    Experience and Education:

    • 3 years in a similar role or as an administrative professional
    • Knowledge and understanding of financial terms, strategies, and products
    • Experience with a similar role with a wealthy advisory firm is a plus, but not required
    • Preferred - already have/willing to obtain SIE, Series 7, 66
