    Compensation and Benefits

    Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,025 - $5,276 per month

    Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,025 - $7,159 per month
    • This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position.
    • Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite. Some positions, depending upon University needs and operations, may be eligible for remote work, one day per week, pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU policy.

    The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year.     Job Summary

    Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Students, this position coordinates programming for and supports the social Greek-letter organizations and their governing councils along with the Inclusive Leadership development of that community and the campus community. The position assists in providing guidance for the University's diverse and dynamic fraternity and sorority community and leadership development for the campus. The position supervises the Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life.

    • Facilitate dialogue, prepare and deliver public presentations, and construct learning activities.
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
    • Multicultural and intercultural competencies to supporting the needs of diverse populations.
    • Proficiency in use of technology, the internet and web-based forms.
    • Advise students individually and within organizations on complex student-related matters and determine appropriate courses of action.

    Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field, including or supplemented by upper division or graduate course work in counseling techniques, interviewing, and conflict resolution.
    • Equivalent of three years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience.
    • One year of experience in the practices, procedures, and administration of social Greek-letter organizations and leadership development programming.
    • A Master's degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience.
    • A doctorate degree and the appropriate internship or clinical training in counseling or guidance may be substituted for the three years of experience for positions with a major responsibility for professional career or personal counseling.
