Walsh University is currently seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant for the Division of Education.

The Graduate Assistant is a master's level student, pursuing a license or advance degree as an educator. His or her work requires competence at both entry-level skills and more advanced professional skills. The Graduate Assistant must be able to work independently. The Graduate Assistant must have good communication skills and interact well with faculty, staff and students. The Graduate Assistant must also have technical skills including data entry and competence with Microsoft Office. The range of duties include:

• Conducting research on behalf of faculty, such as literature searches, survey distribution, and tabulating results; [The GA must go through appropriate CITI training]
• Ordering and maintaining resources, i.e., assessment resources;
• Assisting with large mailings;
• Assisting with preparations for events, such as, Open Houses, Information Nights, Council meetings;
• Attending and assisting at events, such as, Open Houses, Information Nights, Council meetings;
• Entering data that may include accreditation data;
• Responding to requests from the division chair, and program director, faculty, and administrative assistant for assistance on projects, classes, media projects, etc. and,
• Completing other duties as assigned.

Graduate assistants must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled as a full time graduate student.

Graduate Assistants will work 20 hours each week and this may include some evening hours.
