Position Title:  Human Resources Information Systems Intern

Under the direction of the HRMS Manager, will participate in data entry, data analysis and reporting, system research, testing, project meetings and other HR system related tasks.

This position will be primarily responsible for:

• Participates in employee data entry efforts: new hires, terminations, and employee data changes.
• Runs assigned daily reports.
• Creates ad hoc reports.
• Conducts system testing.
• Researches particular system functions and configuration.
• Designs end user guides and documentation.
• Attends project meetings and vendor discussions.
• Communicates with team members regarding system access.
• Other duties as assigned by the HRMS Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Recently awarded Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Information Technology or related field or currently enrolled in program.
• Intermediate Excel Proficiency (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, formulas).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of importance of maintaining confidential information.

Physical Requirements:

Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 75% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 25% or less standing. The job is performed under rare temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.
