Job Overview:
The City of Clinton is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time Human Resources Director. This is a senior-level, exempt management position under the FLSA. The successful candidate must excel in exercising judgment on substantive matters related to the administration of municipal policies, programs, and services.
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple departments within the City by establishing recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs.
- Manage employee benefits, employee recruitment, and labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee the city's performance evaluation process.
- Maintain job descriptions and position classifications and manage and administer multiple compensation plans.
- Aid in succession planning in departments.
