PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS

(1) Qualified by reason of education and/or experience. (2) Knowledgeable of human resource management. (3) Minimum of five (5) years experience in related position. (4) Advanced degree in applicable field or comparable experience. (5) Knowledgeable of current state and federal labor law.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledgeable in applicable local, state, and federal employment law; worker’s compensation, unemployment and benefit administration. Possess high level of communication and documentary skills in order to formulate monitor, and manage employer-employee relationship. Able to understand, interpret and communicate complex ideas, issues and instructions.  Able to manage multiple priorities and respond to multiple demands in timely, professional manner. Able to maintain high level of proficiency and accuracy under pressure. Can demonstrate appropriate communication skills needed to verify, question, and coordinate organizational processes. Able to assess quality of own work and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary. Able to visualize desired result and develop methods of attaining. Able to identify improvements to enhance productivity and the overall performance of the business. Able to work productively with all areas of the organization.   

Accurate knowledge, understanding and efficient use of applicable software packages. Accurate knowledge and understanding of company policies, procedures, programs, and guidelines. Accurate knowledge and demonstrable skills in interpersonal communication and conflict management. Can demonstrate high degree of professional behavior and appearance, work ethic, attention to detail, honesty and reliability. Demonstrates ability to manage stress constructively and maintain a positive, professional, even temperament during periods of frustration, ambiguity, and change.
