Irrigation Technician

Orion Maintenance & Installation is a rapidly growing company in Southeastern Michigan. We are looking for an experienced irrigation technician to join our team. The right candidate would employ high standards for both customer service and quality of work. As a representative for our company, you would need to be extremely dependable, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and dedicated to furthering the success and growth of the company.

Minimum requirements for Irrigation Technician are as follows:

Candidates should be knowledgeable in residential/commercial lawn sprinkler repair, copper repair, valve replacement, wire tracking, winterization, and have the ability to diagnose/repair all aspects of a sprinkler system.

• 2 years experience.
• Must possess a VALID MI driver’s license.
• Knowledge of major manufacturers equipment (Rainbird, Hunter, Irritrol, Toro, Etc.) and Wifi controllers/smart platform irrigation systems (Hydrowise, Rachio, Bee Hyve, Etc.).
• Excellent time management and communication skills both with clients and staff.
• General knowledge of drainage and outdoor lighting systems is a plus.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
