Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress, make necessary adjustments, and resolve any issues that may arise during the remodeling process.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand project requirements and provide insights and recommendations.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including plans, permits, and contracts, to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of skilled workers, providing guidance and support to maximize productivity and quality of work.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and specifications outlined in the project scope.
- Maintain effective communication channels with clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a remodeling foreman or in a similar role, demonstrating successful project completion and team management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices in the remodeling industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
