CES / AWS is looking for an industrial maintenance tech in Madison Alabama.

Position Overview :

Starting on 1st shift for training, you will eventually transition to the 2nd shift. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their expertise in industrial maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts and then test the equipment to ensure it is operating correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications :

• No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
