Marketing Specialist

The Domestic & International Marketing team's primary role is to promote the agriculture industry both domestically and internationally through coordinated trade outreach efforts, market research and trade assistance. This position specifically focuses on coordinating and managing export certificates.

Salary: $43,000 - $45,000 depending on experience (includes full state benefit package)

Location: Jefferson City, MO (must currently reside in the area or be willing to relocate)

What You'll Do:

• Conduct market development and trade activities related to Missouri Food and beverage industries.
• Coordinate and process export certificates requested from Missouri companies and manufacturers. Export certificate requests include Certificates of Free Sale, Health and Sanitary Certificates and Non-GMO Certificates.
• Plan and execute domestic and international activities such as trade missions, buyer's missions and trade show conferences.
• Participate in industry-related events to facilitate and assist in connecting buyers and sellers of product.
• Occasional domestic and international travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in agriculture, agriculture business, marketing, communications, or closely related areas and working knowledge of Adobe Suite and social media platforms.
