POSITION SUMMARY — Manage inventory through database and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet distribution demands. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory, and cycle count adjustments, into computer database
- Receive and issue finished goods into computer database
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
- Ensure FIFO is being maintained
- Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights
- Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
- Drive forklift when needed
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S procedures, rules, and regulations
- Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
- Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work appropriately and effectively unsupervised
- Ability to operate scan guns for movement of material and inventory/location check
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials
- Ability to operate shrink wrap machine and battery hoist
- Ability to learn internal software
Education: High School Graduate, GED, or HSDE preferred
Experience: Minimum of two years of inventory control experience preferred; some supervisory or team lead experience would be an advantage
Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy; Proficient using Microsoft Office
Certificates & Licenses: Must pass and maintain written and driving test for forklift certification
