Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Top Inventory Control Executive leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Inventory Personnel

    The Inventory Personnel will be responsible for developing and improving inventory management procedures.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Oversees inventory of warehouse.
    • Manages inventory to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
    • Evaluates deliveries, shipments.
    • Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.
    • Communicates with employees to keep track of ITS equipment.
    • Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
    • Reports on inventory levels, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Extensive knowledge of fiber optic installations, cable splicing, and troubleshooting.
    • Can accurately read plans and specifications.
    • Comfortable working outside in various climates.

    Education & Experience

    • High school Diploma or GED required. 
    • Previous experience preparing inventories, tracking, and controlling flows of equipment and supplies. 

    Pre-Screen

    • Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

    License & Certifications:

    • Valid driver's license required.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Potential travel required for temporary backup needs at other office locations.

    Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
