Beaver Steel, a prominent metal fabrication company located in Carnegie, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking parts, and conducting inventory-related tasks using the ERP system JobBoss. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels by tracking incoming and outgoing parts, materials, and products using the ERP system (JobBoss).
2. **Receiving and Inspection:** Receive incoming shipments of parts and materials, verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, and perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
3. **Inventory Reconciliation:** Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies as needed.
4. **Stock Control:** Monitor inventory levels, anticipate shortages or excesses, and coordinate with purchasing and production departments to ensure timely replenishment and efficient use of inventory.
5. **Reporting and Analysis:** Generate reports and analyze inventory data to identify trends, track inventory turnover rates, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
6. **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards, and assist with audits and inspections as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Proven experience in inventory control or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, with experience specifically in JobBoss highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
