Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Top Inventory Control Executive leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Status: Non-Exempt
Description: Active in multiple aspects of producing our inventory for sale and/or delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Locates parts/merchandise and pulls from inventory demonstrating an understanding of the Hollander parts numbering system and warehouse locations according to customer work order or sales invoice.*
Audits automotive parts/merchandise to order specifications.*
Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.*
Manages inventory efficiently and effectively by placing merchandise in an organized and understandable manner, verifying quality when parts are put into inventory and ensuring tags are visible.*
Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.*
Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.*
Continuously audits inventory using our state of the art software and resolves any discrepancies.*
Follows all safety policies and procedures.*
Qualifications:

Language Ability:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Certificates and Licenses:
Forklift certification. Training and certification available.
