Position Title: Cycle Counter

Department: Inventory

Location: Fenton, MO

Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor

Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform accurate daily cycle counts from a provided list using a scan gun.
• Maintain cycle count metrics to track inventory accuracy and levels
• Perform inventory discrepancy analysis, determine resolution, and make necessary adjustments in Macola
• Performs necessary root cause analysis to clarify and eliminate source of errors
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and inventory neat and organized
• Comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Operate forklift or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials
• Ability to work closely with internal and external customers to solve problems and answer questions. (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Sales.)
• Assist in any physical inventories as needed.
• May need to travel to other locations of the company for cycle counting purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

• A high school diploma/GED

Required Experience/Skills:

• Able to count accurately using both a scale and hand count.
• A solid understanding of shipping and warehouse operations and associated inventory processes.
• Ability to drive a truck and forklift (will be certified)
• Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft applications
• Analytical thinking and able to perform root cause analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Clear understanding of Bills of Materials
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of inventory procedures
• Flexible scheduling-willing to work overtime as needed
• Ability to focus on task
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 Lbs

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience cycle counting
• Previous work experience in Warehouse or Shipping environment
