Our Warren Ohio distribution center is looking for an experienced inventory control coordinator.
This position will report directly to the Inventory Control Manager, while also having multiple duties assigned to them by the Warehouse manager. This position will be working closely with the office manager, cross training to provide coverage for different warehouse needs.
Essential Job Functions
Primary job responsibility will be cycle counting the warehouse. This position will verify inventory counts, and have great problem solving ability to research and correct any inventory errors
Will also be cross-trained in processing all incoming receiving , and outgoing shipments to 80 retail locations, and thousands of temporary pop up locations.
Investigating and correcting any shipping and receiving discrepancies
Work directly with multiple departments at our corporate headquarters, including purchasing, retail showroom operations, our tents and chain store division, IT, and wholesale
Process year end physical inventories for multiple distribution centers and retail showrooms.
Cross trained as a cashier for our wholesale division the last month leading up to July 4th
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
Knowledge of the methods and procedures of taking inventories which include receiving, picking, shipping, invoicing, RF guns, and use of an ERP/WMS system
Accuracy in checking, posting, and counting
Adaptable to clerical routines
Must be willing to work extended hours during our busy season, which includes many nights and most weekends the last 8 weeks leading up to July 4th.
