Monarch Investments is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Candlelight Park Apartments in Davenport. We offer up to $22/hrs plus $750 quarterly bonuses, full benefits, tool and boot reimbursement, and paid training for certifications. • Assists in completing work orders assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority
• Assists in Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenant occupancy
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Maintaining grounds (Assists when a groundskeeper is utilized)
• Assists in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Assists in maintaining and keeping a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
• Assists in exterior structural maintenance as needed
• May assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
• Snow removal
• Assist in pool maintenance
• Other duties and special projects as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Experience required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months’ experience in general maintenance
• Some dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
