Top Laboratory Executive leads and directs the strategic design, management, and implementation of laboratory operations. Establishes and approves operating policies and procedures to guide the design of projects. Being a Top Laboratory Executive estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Additionally, Top Laboratory Executive manages costs by maintaining vendor relationships and implementing process improvements. Typically responsible for acquiring funding. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Laboratory Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. - You’ll be based out of our Baton Rouge, LA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.
- You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
- You will either be out on your own or team up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
- High School diploma/GED.
- 4-6 years of experience working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and power generator repairs.
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
