Top Laboratory Executive leads and directs the strategic design, management, and implementation of laboratory operations. Establishes and approves operating policies and procedures to guide the design of projects. Being a Top Laboratory Executive estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Additionally, Top Laboratory Executive manages costs by maintaining vendor relationships and implementing process improvements. Typically responsible for acquiring funding. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Laboratory Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Top Laboratory Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Responsibilities

    • Perform Residential home inspections
    • Perform add-on services: Sewer scope, Well Flow Tests, Mold, Air Quality Test, etc.
    • Complete On-going Continuing Education and Training to maintain required licenses
    • Ensure collected samples are properly documented and delivered
    • Clean and maintain company provided tools, equipment, and vehicle
    • Take pictures or videos for social media

    Qualifications and Skills Required

    • Washington State Home Inspector’s License
    • Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
    • Strong Attention to Detail
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Must be a positive team player
    • Ability to actively listen and remain calm under pressure in confrontation situations
    • Ability to interpret and analyze data
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet inspection deadlines
    • Customer Service/Relations - Preferred
    • Building Experience - Beneficial

    Physical Skills needed

    • Ability to move around various areas of the property, including tight spaces such as crawlspaces and attics, to inspect all aspects of the home.
    • Endurance to sustain long periods of physical activity, as home inspections can often involve hours of walking, climbing stairs, and navigating different levels of the property.
    • Capability to maintain balance and stability while walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, or accessing elevated areas such as roofs or balconies.
    • Sufficient strength to carry and operate inspection tools and equipment, such as a ladder, flashlight, moisture meter, and camera, especially when accessing elevated areas or lifting heavy objects.
    • Fine motor skills to manipulate tools and equipment accurately, such as using a screwdriver, opening electrical panels, or testing plumbing fixtures.
    • Sharp eyesight to detect subtle defects or damages in various components of the property, including plumbing leaks, electrical wiring issues, or cracks in walls or foundations.
    • Ability to listen for abnormal sounds or noises during the inspection process, which may indicate problems with mechanical systems, such as HVAC units or plumbing.
    • Adaptability to work in different weather conditions and environments, including outdoor inspections during hot or cold temperatures, rain, or snow.
    • Awareness of safety protocols and precautions to prevent accidents or injuries during inspections, such as wearing protective gear, using fall protection equipment, and avoiding hazardous areas.

    Compensation

    • Starting Pay Range - $20.00 - $21.00
    • Increase to $23.00 after 1 year of inspecting
    • Commissions for add-on service performed with a home inspection
    • 6 Annual Paid Holidays
    • PTO/Sick Pay

    • All tools, continued education, and licensing renewal fees needed to perform job

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
