Top Legal Executive plans and directs all aspects of an organization's legal affairs. Ensures all business policies and activities are managed correctly and in compliance with current laws. Being a Top Legal Executive provides strategic guidance on legal issues, manages compliance and risk mitigation, reviews contracts, and handles other legal duties to protect the organization's interests. Uses a broad range of legal expertise and current knowledge to advise leadership on any regulatory changes or actions that may impact the business. Additionally, Top Legal Executive assists or represents the organization in business negotiations. May assist in the defense of the organization in lawsuits and the prosecution of lawsuits on behalf of the organization. Requires a JD. Requires State Bar membership. Typically reports to Top Legal Executive. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. This is role will require reporting onsite to various locations throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities of a Digital Reporter - Legal Proceedings:
- 🎙️ Digital Recording: Capture spoken testimony during legal proceedings.
- 💻 Tech Proficiency: Operate computer audio equipment after our training program.
- 📝 Documentation: Create annotations and maintain speaker identifications.
Requirements of a Digital Reporter - Legal Proceedings:
- 💻 Tech Enthusiast: Comfortable with computers and software.
- 📝 Quick Typist: Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
- 🗣️ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.
- 💼 Notary: Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission as applicable (we'll assist)
- AAERT Certification Required in some states; If not already AAERT Certified, we will provide training and opportunity for certification.
