Top Litigation Executive oversees all litigation related to an organization and ensures maximum protection of the organization's legal rights. Acts as a liaison between outside attorneys and in-house staff. Being a Top Litigation Executive directs cases through litigation cycle, reviews new files for coverage and liability issues, and develops a cost effective defense strategy. Consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Additionally, Top Litigation Executive requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Top Litigation Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Top Litigation Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism, enabling them to confidently and effectively interact with diverse individuals such as clients, creditors, attorneys, and other professionals.     Here's what you'll do:

    • Handling inbound and outbound phone calls
    • Communicating with clients by telephone and by email
    • Efficiently corresponding with clients and internal/external staff
    • Resolving and answering client inquiries
    • Communicating with courts and court clerks across the country
    • Collecting client documents
    • Generating client retainer agreements
    • Managing the new client onboarding process and procedures
    • Ensuring client information is entered accurately and completely into our CRM
    • Obtaining, reviewing, and updating client information as needed
    • Keeping accurate records of transactions and communications
    • Maintaining a knowledge base of our services
    • Other support and administrative tasks as necessary

    Here's what you'll need to bring to the table:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field
    • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal research tools
    • Familiarity with FDCPA, TCPA, and FCRA regulations and case preparation
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Experience in attorney recruitment and networking is a plus
