Top Litigation Executive oversees all litigation related to an organization and ensures maximum protection of the organization's legal rights. Acts as a liaison between outside attorneys and in-house staff. Being a Top Litigation Executive directs cases through litigation cycle, reviews new files for coverage and liability issues, and develops a cost effective defense strategy. Consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Additionally, Top Litigation Executive requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Top Litigation Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This is an administrative-heavy position. Most of your time will be spent on streamlining our client management system, updating information with clients, contacting medical facilities, searching through medical records for pertinent information, etc. If you do not excel in this type of environment - this position is not for you. We will train you (no legal experience necessary), but this position requires an analytical, inquisitive mind and someone eager to learn.

This is an in-office position. We are located above the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. We have beautiful offices with open space, lots of windows, a gym in the building and are conveniently located right off the 5 at Palomar Airport Road.
7.5 hrs per day - 37.5 hours per week. Paid Time Off (holiday, vacation, sick pay, personal days), Medical and Dental benefits available after 90 days. 401(k) with percentage match. Newly remodeled gym in the building, unlimited snacks and drinks and a great atmosphere!
