Top Logistics Management Executive plans, designs, and directs all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Develops the overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Top Logistics Management Executive oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation functions that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Additionally, Top Logistics Management Executive requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Logistics Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Logistics Management Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.
