Traveler must be willing to work July 4 andLabor Day holidays including weekends before (If Needed / Scheduled).RTO during these holidays will not be approved.

• Deliversbasic nursing and restorative care within the facilities policiesand procedures under the supervision of LPNs and RNs.
• Attend reports before starting resident care and keeplicensed personnel informed of significant observations in residentcare and environmental conditions supply and equipment needs andperformance problems.
• Assist residents withall aspects of personal hygiene including bathing grooming anddressing; administer specified skin care treatments according tofacility protocol and the Resident Care Plan.
• Secure a safe environment forstaff and residents by reacting to emergencies per facility policysuch as fire drills redirecting wandering / confused residents andresident falls;

ensure resident safety at all times and protect therights of all residents at all times.

Obtainadequate knowledge of Resident Care Plans to provide basic nursingcare; comply with established nursing standards and policies andprocedures of the nursing department and the facility;

and maintainresident confidentiality and privacy.

Identifyand utilize infection control techniques at all times; respect thespiritual belief system of residents; encourage residents toparticipate in their care appropriate to the residents optimallevel of physical and mental functioning.
