We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! 

 We are currently looking to fill  PRN positions with the following schedules:

• 1^st shift 6:00 am -2:30 pm
• 2^nd shift 3:00 pm -11:00 pm
• 3^rd shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

GENERAL SUMMARY

The C.N.A. will deliver compassionate, direct resident care to residents, while performing all care-related procedures. Will carry out assignments per resident care plan, physician orders and/or directed by charge nurse, take vital signs, weigh residents, assist in obtaining specimens from residents, help in bathing and dressing residents, and many other care-related responsibilities. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist residents with daily personal care (i.e., brushing teeth, dentures, oral hygiene, and special mouth care, bed bath, tub or shower bath, dressing/undressing, combing, brushing, shampooing, clipping, trimming, and cleaning the fingers, shaving male residents, take to the bathroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.) as directed.
• Position bedfast residents in proper body alignment for comfort
• Maintain accurate intake and output records as instructed.
• Keep residents clean and dry.
• Prepare and give enemas. Report results as instructed.
• Collect specimens as instructed (i.e., urine and stools as instructed)
• Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations (TPRs), measure height/weight of resident as instructed.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold a current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Must hold BLS certification.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must work a minimum of every other weekend.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care processes preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• HS diploma or GED required.
