    We'd like to invite you to consider our per diem opportunity to earn additional income as an Independent Contract Nurse (ICN) while utilizing your nursing skills to make a real impact on people's lives! Become part of LifePlans, LLC an illumifin company’s National Network of Nurses. illumifin is a Third Party Administrator that makes over 60,000 in-home visits each year. As a contracted Registered Nurse with illumifin, you set your own schedule by accepting the assessment referrals you choose.

    As a member of illumifin’s Network, a national network of RNs, you will visit clients in their home environment and use your nursing skills to complete face-to-face assessments used in determining eligibility or benefits for evaluated clients. These assessments vary in length from 45 minutes to 2 hours and can consist of a health interview, brief cognitive screen, checking the height/weight/blood pressure of the client (for Underwriting assessments only), discussing IADLs, and viewing ADL demonstrations.

    No blood draws or specimen collections required.

    Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

    As a RN with illumifin, you will utilize your critical thinking and assessment skills to complete the following:

    • Communicate promptly with illumifin regarding file status and appointment times
    • Obtain thorough cognitive and health assessment information as required
    • Comply with all assessment instructions and accurately complete assessment paperwork
    • Return the assessment within 24 hours after the appointment
    • Example: if you complete the assessment at 10:00AM today, it will be due to illumfin by 10:00AM tomorrow
    • Respond promptly to any follow-up and clarification questions regarding each submitted assessment
    • With E-Assessments training, you can complete assessments electronically using your cell phone, tablet, iPad or Laptop

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications Required:

    • Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in your state of residence
    • A minimum of two years' experience working with an adult population
    • Assessment skills are a plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience working with the geriatric population

    · Work experience in Home Health, Hospice, Nursing Homes or Assisted Living Facilities

    In order to continue the application/interview process, you will need the following required equipment:

    • Calibrated manual upper arm blood pressure cuff
    • Calibrated portable scale (to obtain client's weight)
    • Measuring tape (to obtain client's height)
    • Compatible cell phone, iPad, Tablet or Laptop
    • Printer with a scanner or Printer with Fax
