Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Administer medications and assist with medication management - Monitor and document client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping - Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients - Provide transportation for clients to appointments or outings Skills: - Experience in home care or direct support is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems - Familiarity with resident rights and dementia care - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities - First aid certification is a plus If you are a caring individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we invite you to apply for the position of Direct Care Worker.
