Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office or dental office. Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with billing and payment processing - Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care - Perform general office duties, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents Skills: - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Experience working in a medical office or dental office setting preferred - Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
