This position is meant to address the production shortfall within manufacturing departments by creating WIP (kanban inventory) in processes which are a bottleneck within the department. The Weekend Operator is expected to work independently and reach critical production targets while working with minimal supervision. In this position the routine operations performed by a Weekend Manufacturing Operator can be the same as Utility I or 2. The associate may set up, operate, maintain and execute basic repairs on production equipment. While the actual operation of the workstations can be routine, exceptional focus on reaching production goals, troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude are key requirements given the reduced supervisory and technical support over the weekend.
This position will work three twelve hour shifts, Fri/Sat/Sun and be paid 40 hours. First shift hours are (6a-6:30p) Third shift hours (6p – 6:30a). Third shift hours are eligible for third shift differential.
Position requires gowning procedures for controlled environment.
