Job Description

This is a paid position ideal for a student approaching or in their senior year of college. MUST be located in the state of Ohio and able to work with the marketing team in our Akron office 2 days per week. Work hours may be between 30 and 36 hours per week during the summer months. There is a possibility of this internship continuing after summer. The candidate must be professional, coachable, open-minded, and willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, entrepreneurship, communications, or related field
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

SEO

• Keyword research 
• On-page activities: Optimization of meta content, body copy, headers, images, etc.
• Writing blog posts
• Conducting site SEO audits
• Assisting with pulling reporting

PPC

• Assisting with managing accounts in Google, YouTube, Spotify, Facebook/Instagram, X
• Conducting daily campaign management: bid management, keyword addition/deletion, budget monitoring, etc.

Social Media Marketing

• Helping to manage accounts on various social media platforms
• Assisting with creating editorial calendars

Email Marketing

• Helping in the process of creating and scheduling email campaigns

Misc.

• Proofing and reviewing
• Research
• Work cooperatively with others
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as required with digital marketing efforts in various areas: SEO, PPC, email, social media, as well as branding, print, and video
