As a Marketing Assistant, you will support various marketing initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Support the development and execution of social media content across various platforms.
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including social media videos such as Instagram Reels and Tiktoks, static social media posts, newsletters, and more.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
• Assist in organizing and attending marketing events, such as trade shows and conferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives and to develop content strategies that align with the company's brand voice and messaging.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining marketing calendars.
• Assist the marketing team in creating compelling content for various marketing materials, including social media posts, blog posts, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing, especially high-engagement social media content and design trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, or related field. Open to recent graduates who is currently in college or university.
• Proficient in basic English grammar, including punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar rules.
• Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering effective teamwork with marketing and cross-functional teams, while remaining receptive to constructive criticism for continual improvement and growth.
• Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, especially Instagram and Tiktok.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Creativity and ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
• Excellent research skills to gather information and insights on various trending social media topics and hashtags.
• Eagerness to learn and a passion for marketing is a must.
• Knowledge of basic design tools such as Capcut, Canva, or Photoshop is preferred.
• Knowledge of viral social media trends and common practices, capable of crafting engaging content.
• Demonstrated ability to apply basic principles of visual design, incorporating tasteful and visually appealing elements for social media.
• Please share any available portfolios or examples of work—ranging from professional work, school projects, small business social media accounts, personal projects – anything that can showcase creative ability in a formal, professional setting.
