Being a Top Materials Management Executive coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to improve operational efficiencies and workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Top Materials Management Executive typically reports to top management. The Top Materials Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Materials Management Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Reporting to the Hospital Administrator, the Materials Management Manager will lead the daily operations of the Supply Chain Operations teams. The Manager will manage the staff scheduling, daily workflow, performance improvement, and staff development of the department. The Manager will also act as a department resource in regards to Material needs.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Hands on Leadership style
- Minimum 5 years of Hospital purchasing, receiving, and contracting experience
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a hospital or ASC
