Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel housekeeping management and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints
- Oversee floor care maintenance, including carpet cleaning, waxing floors, and polishing furniture
- Maintain a positive working relationship with staff members and provide guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management is required
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff members at all levels. BI-LINGUAL preferred
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and equipment operation
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
