Walker Sand & Gravel, a Summit Materials company, is looking for a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented Loader Operator to operate Front End loaders in a Sand and Gravel or Asphalt Manufacturing Environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
Daily Equipment Inspection Any safety or mechanical issues to be reported to supervisor immediately.Equipment inspection log to be turned in daily.
Do not run equipment without performing the inspection.Fueling of Equipment Equipment is to be fueled at the end of each shift.
Operation of equipment Equipment is to be operated in a safe and efficient manner. Operator shall always maintain control of the equipment.
Operator shall not idle equipment when not in use. Turn it off.
Site Observations and Safety Awareness The loader operator’s role is key to the success of the operations. Some items the loader operator should be aware of are : Maintaining high quality feed material.
Watch for any potential site or plant problems that are within your view.Be alert to site hazards involved with feeding from the load face of material.
Productivity Seeks to produce material that will provide the most consistent, highest quality end products, under the direction of the leadman and pit supervisor.
