Job Title: Financial Planning Associate

Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated Financial Planning Associate to enhance the quality and quantity of our financial planning deliverables. This role involves working, independently and with our team, to produce advanced financial planning outputs using industry software and our proprietary tools built on Google Suite. It also involves contributing to the research that supports our client-centric services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial planning principles and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and adapting within our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently generate high-quality financial planning deliverables using industry standard software, proprietary software tools, and GSuite products, focusing on filling out our custom dashboards and presentations.
• Interpret, analyze, and synthesize client data to develop comprehensive financial plans and strategies.
• Provide consistent updates and improvements to financial planning outputs based on feedback from senior planners and advisors and from internal communications regarding the client’s financial life.
• Engage in ongoing learning to enhance knowledge and stay abreast of industry developments.
• Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance our financial planning services and continuously improve client loyalty.
• Maintain a client-first mentality, ensuring all deliverables align with Spartan Planning Group's standards and with client objectives.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a CFP, Paraplanner, or equivalent, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial planning concepts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• High level of proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides, with a knack for creating detailed and informative financial dashboards.
• Experience in Financial Planning software such as eMoney, Right Capital, MoneyGuidePro, Asset Map, Holistiplan, etc…
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and apply feedback effectively.
• A growth mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning from past experiences.
• Creativity and openness to suggesting new ideas and methodologies that align with our firm's values and client goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
