Jones Networking is recruiting a Director of Acquisitions to join a private commercial real estate firm in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate acquisitions as well as experience in debt/equity procurement for commercial real estate transactions. Director of Acquisitions Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and foster relationships with operators of brick & mortar (preferably single tenant) concepts to the point to where the Firm is at least a critical part of, if not the main way the operator plans to scale their business through our partnership
- Cultivate and foster relationships with property owners via cold calls and networking
- Cultivate and foster relationships with the commercial real estate brokerage community
- Follow our CRM process to execute on consistent follow up of leads and opportunities
- Leverage the Firm’s resources, train, operational infrastructure and network to maximize individual and company success
- Negotiate and navigate the complexities from start to close of a commercial real estate sale transaction
- Possess a deep understanding of the underwriting and execution of acquiring retail properties including, but not limited to debt, equity, modeling, understanding future strategy and assessing risk
- Provide guidance and support to help teammates overcome obstacles and challenges
- Share insights and perspectives based on relevant experience and expertise
Director of Acquisitions Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, sale leasebacks, tenant representation, preferred development, private equity, business brokerage, M & A advisory, or similar
- 2 years of experience in debt/equity procurement for commercial real estate transactions preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with extremely strong phone & presentation skills

Director of Acquisitions Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary Commission Ownership in the properties procured
