Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Essential Functions- Develops, builds, and maintains long-term relationships with brokers, banks, and credit unions
- Makes routine sales calls on wholesale/correspondent customer base to continually solicit loan volume and maintain a strong pipeline
- Ensures successful onboarding of new business relationships
- Obtains all required loan documents and financial statements from prospective brokers, banks, and credit unions and sends to have customer approval
- Works closely with processing and underwriting to ensure fast turnaround time and quality of underwriting of customers’ loans
- Works closely with mortgage closers to ensure smooth, accurate, and high-quality loan closings
- Continually monitors the performance of accounts in pipeline and provides expert customer service
Competencies- Knowledge of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
- Knowledge of mortgage loan regulatory requirements, residential products, and functions
- Desire to maximize personal productivity through attention to detail, self-motivation, and adaptability to achieve personal business plan goals
- Actively participate in opportunities to expand knowledge, influencing, and interpersonal skills through continuing educational opportunities
Education and Experience- Associates degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales preferred
- 2 years of residential mortgage experience
- Established relationships with local referral networks
