In this position you will...
Manage the Staff Development/Infection Control in planning, implementing, and maintaining a program of required education and professional development for all facility staff. This position will be responsible for communicating with employees any opportunities for continuing education. The Staff Development/Infection Control DIrector is responsible for assisting in the developing and implementing of programs designed to enhance the skills of associates, relevant to their positions at the facility. This position requires a natural leader, with a strong ability to convey information and work in a cohesive and effective manner, conduct must consistently reflect the facility’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota
Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred, and a minimum of three years’ experience in nursing
Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills
Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing in a long-term care setting
Has strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
Current CPR certification is required
Must be able to pass a State of Minnesota Department of Human Services criminal background study, as well as a United States Office of the Inspector General exclusion search
This position is full time, Monday-Friday with minor weekend requirements. We offer a full benefits package and a highly competitive salary.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
