    Job Description:
    The Traffic Control Design Specialist is essential to our design and planning efforts, using expertise in AutoCAD and Invarion to create detailed traffic control plans for various projects. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating with municipalities to ensure regulatory compliance, and ensuring designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft detailed, site-specific Traffic Control Plans using Invarion and/or AutoCAD, focusing on efficiency, safety, and compliance.
    • Collaborate closely with municipalities, internal teams, and stakeholders to align with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage multiple project timelines, ensuring timely and successful completions.
    • Handle various file formats, including DWG, KMZ, SHP, and PDF, for accurate project planning and execution.

    Qualifications and Education:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience drafting site-specific traffic control plans using Invarion and/or AutoCAD.
    • Minimum of 1 year field experience as a Flagger and/or Traffic Control Supervisor, with a solid understanding of traffic control practices and safety procedures.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workplace, Adobe Acrobat, and skilled in the use of Invarion and/or AutoCAD software.
    • WA State Flaggers Certification
    • WA State Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Certification
    • Familiarity with GIS Mapping systems and tools such as Google Earth/Maps.
    • Knowledge of MUTCD standards and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with these and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Strong project coordination and communication skills, capable of effectively working within a team environment.
    • Self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in dynamic conditions.
