    Under general supervision the Organizational Development Specialist provides a range of consultation services to organizational leaders, developing and implementing programs that align workforce learning and development with key business strategies and initiatives. Responsible for the design, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of programs that build employee competencies to enable the individual, department and the organization to improve effectiveness. Works collaboratively across the organization to ensure learning and development needs are aligned with and support organizational strategies, provide continuous improvement and works to improve leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's degree required. 2. Degree in education, business, behavioral science or Instructional Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, a Clinical field, other related field preferred. 3. Three years training and organizational development experience required. 4. Emphasis in performance consulting activities including coaching, facilitation and training design, development and delivery preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Basic understanding of OD theories, philosophies, practices and methods. 2. Understanding of organizational needs analysis. 3. Knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE and ARCS and evaluation methodology such as the Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model. 4. Excellent oral and written communications skills. 5. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in adult learning platform skills and classroom management. Computers and Technology 1. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
