    Summary:
    Gila River Displays ("GRD") is owned and operated by the Gila River Indian Community. Our inventory is located along various major corridors within Maricopa and Pinal County including, interstate (I-10), State Route 202, State Route 347, State Route 87. The inventory consists of both static and digital billboards. The role of the Sales Account Executive is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining existing relationships. The Sales Account Executive will promote our billboards, develop tailored campaigns, and ensure client satisfaction.


    Responsibilities:
    Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Prospect and acquire qualified clients.
    • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to identify sales opportunities.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Conduct needs assessments and consultations with clients.
    • Travel within assigned territory as needed or directed for client meetings and business development.

    Advertising Campaign Development:
    • Develop comprehensive advertising proposals and presentations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for campaign execution.

    Sales and Negotiation:
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and campaign schedules.
    • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients.

    Market Awareness and Networking:
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

    Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and revenue projections.
    • Prepares billboard market analysis for both the Maricopa and Pinal County area on quarterly basis.
    • Maintain, weekly, quarterly, and monthly sales plans.

    • Maintaining current records of clients and sales activity.
    • Follow up on all client production orders and problem-solve any issues that may arise.
    • Actively participate in Weekly Sales Meetings
    • Deliver Proof of Performances (Photo-taking)

    Working Conditions:
    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work will primarily be performed in an office environment.
    • Work will be performed both inside and outside on a regular basis, in most weather conditions.
    • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as a normal part of this position.
    • Occasional local day travel, local travel to managed businesses.


    Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk extended period. The employee occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.


    Required Qualifications:
    • Five (5) years of experience in outdoor advertising sales.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for client meetings and events.
    • Valid AZ driver's license, provide a 39-month violation-free MVR report.
    • Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at the time of hire.
    • A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.
    • Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or sales.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence decision-makers.
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
    • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g.,Quantum). • Ability to exhibit effective time management and self-organization skills.
    • Knowledge of basic laws, ordinances, and federal laws as they apply to Tribal Government.
    • Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Communities.
