We are seeking an Assistant County Attorney to join our legal team in Henderson County, Kentucky. Henderson County is a thriving and dynamic community located across the Ohio River from Evansville, IN. Henderson County is a wonderful combination of nearby big-city amenities and small town family lifestyle.
Job Characteristics:
Provides routine legal services of a varied nature which are typically characterized by facts that are well-established, involve established legal precedents and have a relatively moderate impact, and perform other duties as required. May coordinate the work of other attorney and non-attorney staff. This position is jointly funded by the Kentucky Prosecutor’s Advisory Council and the Henderson County Attorney’s Office. Health insurance would be provided by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the position would participate in both the Kentucky Employees Retirement System (KERS) and the County Employees Retirement System (CERS).
