    As an Administrative Support Assistant in the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), you will:

    • Uses office automation processing software and equipment in performing management and/or program support assignments for the office
    • Utilizes a variety of data processing software and computer linked hardware systems for word processing, electronic mail, electronic calendar, suspense systems, spreadsheets, graphics, and numerous databases.
    • Keeps control of organization's nonexpendable property, such as office equipment, furniture, reproduction equipment, and data processing equipment.- Advises office personnel on proper maintenance and control of files and records.

    Qualifications

    GS-6: To be eligible at the GS-6 level, you must meet the Specialized Experience, as defined below:

    Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting in the collection and distribution of information to support various office needs; supporting office needs by monitoring support service functions such as supply, inventory, purchase cards, equipment maintenance, and facilities trouble calls; and preparing a variety of documents and reports to support office personnel.
