  • AquaPhoenix Scientific is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive responsible for building and expanding the Company’s process and control equipment division. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to open doors, hunt sales, and are excited to join our expanding business.

    Primary responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, advancing the sales process, building/expanding relationships with clients/customers, and devising strategies to drive growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be working in a team-driven environment, rich in culture and experiencing tremendous growth. Knowledge of the industrial or commercial water treatment industries is a benefit but not required.

    Desired Skills, Education, and Knowledge

    AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Business Development Executive, Equipment Solutions position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; along with four or more year’s sales experience - preferably in the water treatment industry. Requires a valid US driver’s license and the ability to travel as required to fulfill the expectations of the position.

    Additional characteristics, attributes, and skills include but are not limited to:

    • Develop and follow through on proactive sales leads through external source leads, cold-calls, and current customer/prospects.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and account management.
    • Understand client needs and objectives, and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and address any issues or challenges.
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure client needs are met effectively.
    • Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software.
    • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual sales goals and targets.

    This is a remote sales position; however, residence in the DFW metroplex area or northeastern US is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will be subject to customary travel as reasonably required to perform the essential responsibilities of the job – including infrequently to the Company’s corporate offices located in Hanover, PA.
