Territories and Operations Manager
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join our team as a Territory and Office Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our NEST Tutoring locations across various territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing territory operations, office tasks, and educational support initiatives comprehensively. This includes hiring, training, and supervising staff and volunteers, managing multiple tutoring locations, overseeing local operations, and ensuring effective communication with students, parents, and educational staff.
Additionally, the role involves working closely with the Executive Director on special projects, budgeting, and providing on-call support for office teams. The successful candidate will also collaborate in the development of educational programs, focusing on the unique needs of at-risk students living in poverty. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on our educational and community goals.
Territory Management
- Hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, firing, and replacing staff members and volunteers for NEST locations.
- Local territory operations (buying/resupplying supplies, RV/Study Bus logistics)
- Onsite supervision and auditing of local teams.
- Communication with students, parents, and school faculty members.
- For larger sites, communicate with site managers (if assigned).
Office Operations
- Special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Assisting in budgeting.
- On-call support for office teams and sub-committees.
Educational Support
- Work alongside the Executive Director, school facilitators, and education sub-committee to organize and create learning outcomes for students.
- Onboard and offload student data with schools to monitor educational outcomes.
- Assist staff members and students directly with topics unique to at-risk students living in poverty.
Supervision
This is a supervisory role involving direct supervision of tutors and site managers (when assigned). This position reports directly the Executive Director, and indirectly to the Board of Directors. Qualified applicants should have experience working with high-school employees and volunteers.
Qualifications
- 4-5 Years of Experience in education/education-adjacent roles.
- 2-3 Years of Experience in small-team management.
