Top Program Executive (Non-Profit) provides leadership, direction, and resources to implement non-profit programs and develop the teams that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Ensures that programs operate efficiently and pursues opportunities to expand and develop new programs. Being a Top Program Executive (Non-Profit) utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs, assesses needs, and ensures that program objectives are achieved. Creates and executes a strategic development plan to help the organization meet its operational and fundraising goals. Additionally, Top Program Executive (Non-Profit) is responsible for the success of special events, community outreach initiatives, and fundraising activities. Acts as a spokesperson and represents the programs at events. May oversee the grant process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Program Executive (Non-Profit) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Top Program Executive (Non-Profit) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Description Summary:
    Reporting to the Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion, the Co-Directors, and the Program Manager of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion-ODI, K-12/College University Medical Education-UME pathway programs. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the ODI. They will also assist with coordinating and providing program support to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with the designated priorities, time limitation and funding limitations.

    Job Description:
    Required Qualifications

    Education: Baccalaureate degree in appropriate discipline, such as psychology, education, counseling, etc. - experience may substitute on a year for year basis

    Work Experience:
    Three years progressively responsible experience in an administrative or managerial role

    Experience with grant writing and reporting

    Experience with program evaluation and assessment

    Extensive experience with software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, and PeopleSoft Tools

    Experience with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn

    Preferred Qualifications

    Education: Advanced degree in relevant field

    Work Experience:
    Administrative experience in an academic medical center and working with pipeline programs focused on diversity and inclusion efforts

    Experience in counseling and/or student advising. Familiar with web design and publishing

    Skills:
    Ability to interact both orally and in writing with students from diverse backgrounds as well as faculty, staff, administrators, and the public

    Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage competing and shifting priorities

    Job Description

    Responsible for providing support and assistance to the Associate Dean, Co-Directors, and Program Manager of the ODI, K-12/College University Medical Education-UME pathway programs.

    This position will coordinate and provide support to all diversity and academic programs, workshops, and activities.

    Assists in grant writing and reporting. To include monitoring, evaluating, and reconciling accounts related to assigned grant funds and budgets.

    Program development and maintenance of the Urban Scholars program.

    Point of contact for the ODI Advisory Committee and assisting with the objectives and goals of this committee.

    Provides administrative assistance and support for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. This includes routing calls to the appropriate staff, maintaining and protecting the confidentiality of office business. Assist with office files & databases and maintaining the monthly office calendar of all program events and activities.

    Anticipated Salary Range: $26.13/hr to $32.67/hr based on Experience
