PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Serve as the initial contact with the public and District personnel. Provide clerical support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Education Support Center Business Office while performing all major responsibilities and maintaining accurate, current and confidential records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associate’s Degree from accredited college/university w/ emphasis in accounting/business
related field- preferred
Minimum > 40 WPM typing test
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication, public relations, organizational and interpersonal skills
Work effectively and collaboratively with students and school personnel
Follow written and/or oral directions and exercise good judgment
Work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility
Work independently as well as in a team setting
Work independently without direct guidance and supervision
Possess basic knowledge of accounting procedures as well as campus activity accounts
Proficient computer skills and file maintenance
Use software to develop spreadsheets, databases and financial applications
Maintain accurate and auditable records
Knowledge of school district organization, operations, and administrative policies
