We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The role will prepare financial plans and forecasts based on performance expectations. The position gathers and publishes financial information related to historical, current, and future performance. The Analyst also performs financial analysis utilizing appropriate financial concepts and techniques and recommends alternative courses of action.
Responsibilities for Financial Analyst
Conducts and documents complex financial/analysis projects and prepares forecasts.
May also be responsible for general accounting activities.
Conducts and documents more complex financial and business analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, profitability, and investments.
Makes recommendations for improvement.
Coordinates preparation, roll-up, and presentation of analysis results.
Performs analysis and research for the preparation of long-range planning, operating reviews, and annual operating plans.
Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in construction, sales, finance, general business conditions, profitability, and other related areas.
May prepare and compile data for income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports for more complex business units or plants.
Performs tasks in accordance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies.
May coach and assist in the training of less experienced employees.
Desired Skills and Experience for Senior Financial Analyst
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Construction, Service-related, or equivalent experience. 3 years.
Accounting Certification Preferred (ex. CPA, ACA).
